Question Subframe Connectors

Ok, a buddy of mine is joining the F Body club (smart coice). He just bought a 88 Z28 w/ T Tops. The frame is straight because the T Tops don't leak at all. He plans on putting either a 327 or a 302 (yes Chevy did make a 302). He plans on pushin 600hp give or take. He was wondering what he should use for subframe connectors. Thanks guys.

W/ 600 hp, he'll need more than just subframes. the car needs to go to a chassis shop and get atleast a six point cage

I beleive the question was not whether to use them or not.. it was WHAT TYPE?!

I like Spohn parts myself.. spohn.net.. Very high quaility.. lots and lots of good things heard.

You definetly need subframes and probaly a lot more suspension stuff. I hace SPOHN subframes and they fit/work/look sweet.

does the ttops not leaking have anything to do with a straight frame? cause my ttops don't leak in my 87 Z at all....

Tell him to look at TPIS's subframe connectors. All he needs to do is look at the picture of them and he will see the difference. Stadard connectors are about 1" tube steel, the TPIS ones are 2" boxed steel with a ton more bracing, they are far superior to any others I have seen.

I have the Hotchkis ones too, just waiting to have them installed.
The car will feel like a different car after the subframes are installed.

Tell your friend to go with the 327, so much of a better engine.
