I know that this is one of those stupid questions but I need to know... I'm going to be putting a 5.7L motor into my 87 Iroc that currently has a 305 w/ a 5 speed. My question is will the 5 speed work with the 5.7? I mean is the bell housing the same or do I need a different one? Like I said in the title " stupid trans question".

 

COOL!!!! I knew that the T5 didn't have much life once your torque reaches like 350 area. I might as well but a better clutch in it. Any suggestions?
