Stumbling In D

Wassup, Some times while driving in Drive down the street doin about 40 and i step on the gas it wont go, it will feel like i never stepped on the gas any harder, ill step on it other times and it will just feel like its stumbling a little and catch speed little by little.
But if i drop it back to Overdrive then thats when it will catch speed. Any ideas what this could be? By Drive always seemed like it wasnt fully all there. Dont Know whats up.

Could this be caused by my MAF? Im gettting the connecter tomarrow i had it special ordered from NAPA on monday. Hopefully that was the problem cuz my other connecter got chewed up by my alternator band.
