i am replacing the stock heads and manifold with vortec heads and a vortec manifold and i want to change my stock gears and put a posi in but was wondering which would be better a 3.42 or 3.73 gear

3in flowmaster american thunder exhaust
vortec heads
vortec manifold

future mods
XE comp cam(roller)
custom ECM

1991 RS
700R4 Auto

and a converter

 

im interested in putting in 3.42's also but i was wondering how hard it is to put them in, or if i take it to a place how much it would probably cost me for installation?
