Just want to see a list of what you all ran before you started modding. So i'm looking for BONE STOCK times here. I mean, K&N filters, plugs, wires, clutch, etc... that stuff doesn't count, but like exhaust, pullies, etc... that stuff isn't stock hehe. So what'd you run!

Oh yeah... list year, engine, tranny, and rear end!

14.62 @ 95.5 (K&N Filter, Flowmaster Catback, BBK X-Pipe)

14.30 @ 96.5 (The above plus: BBK Headers, ASP Pullies, MAC CAI, 3.55 Gears)

 

Never ran mine 100% stock but had a K&N, 160 thermostat, and Thrasher 92 chip. Ran 13.0@104 on Firestone Firehawks.

I went 14.52 @92mph w/ 1.969 60ft. with a bad trans that wouldn't shift into 3rd, so I had to lift off the throttle past the 1/8th mile and coast thru the traps...

This was at Ubly Dragway in September of 2001.

I know with a good trans and some PROM tuning I could pull off a mid 13 as is. I just put in a trans and hope to get some new timeslips within the next month or two.

I never ran my iroc 100% stock, but with a k&N and edelbrock headers I turned a 14.4 @99. It was way too cold for traction, so the 60fts were poopy 2.19's.

With K&N and a Hypertech chip/160 stat, best was 15 flat at local 4,100 ft track, about a 14.3 corrected. Usually ran 15.3 - 15.5. Best 60 ft, 2.17. Yech!

89 Formula 350 twin cat WS6, 3.27 diff.

 

all stock i ran a 15.7@86mph with an 89' Formula 305 TPI w/2.73 gears.

Bone stock with 155,000 miles at time of race. Stock size tires/wheels ($60 a piece street tires ) , stock limited slip 3.23's, 1/4 tank of 93 octane gasoline, no K&N's. More or less, completely factory showroom condition except for the mudflaps. Never been rebuilt or tore down other than routine services (oil change, spark plugs/wires, distributor cap/rotor, transmission filter/fluid, new GM radiator/waterpump/alternator).

60' times were achieved without the slightest bit of spinning the tires. Neither in the smoke box, nor at the tree. I did however power brake at 1100-1200 RPM's before launching.

P.S.: 1987 IROC Z-28, 305 TPI w/700R4, T-Tops, all power options, 4 wheel disc's and I weigh about 145 lbs. All times and speeds are at 1/8th mile track.

my 1/8 was 9.1 for my 14.30 1/4... so a 9.7 would translate to what 1/4?
