Re: stealth ram question

our track sits at about 3700ft, but I have yet to race this car on a day where DA was under 5800. Weve had bracket racing on days where it was 7000 and temp was 99*...
I run some hard *** street tires (440 treadlife road huggers ) but Im real consistant with a 2.13 60ft. I have some used 26 X 10.50 ET streets that I could run, and also some 26 X 12 bias ply tires, with either of those I could get maybe a 2.0x 60ft. I wanted a 14 with the daily set up before I tried using either these. But now Im guessing with the HSR Ill give up enough torque that I wont need anything stickier than the street tires.

Pretty typical LS1 launch.......no traction but after about 300 feet, look out.

Re: stealth ram question

I ran mine that way No heads no new came just headers cat back for about a year. had some minor problems with it because of the chip & took it in to get it worked on & spun 3 main Bearings. (there were other issues with the engine that helped those go as well)

Main thing I learned from this is when building up the top end of your engine make sure everything in the bottom end is in good shape as well.
