Starting problem
Starting problem
My 87 camaro has recently died a few times and can't starp up again unless it is jumped. However the battery is fine and the alternator also works? DOes this sound like a starter or something else? Along with what would be a good starter to get?

Re: Starting problem
If the car is cranking but not starting, then its not your starter/batter/alternator. If it is not cranking and you are sure those 3 are good, then you either have a bad ignition switch or bad wiring somewhere. Since getting a jump seems to work, your problem is almost certainly the battery or alternator. Check connections to both. Make sure all terminals are clean and are properly connected. This may fix your problem.
