starting off in my t-5

i got to drive my car in town for like the first time in forever today and when in traffic, parking lots, etc, i was revvin til maybe 2200 rpm then slidin the clutch..is that bad for the clutch will it burn it up quicker? thanks

YES!!! Unless you racing someone there is no need to rev more than 1200 RPM or so to get it going, I drove my car with the T-5 for 150,000 miles on the factory clutch and it was still holding good when I changed engines.

Any time that your clutch is slipping, you're wearing it out.

For normal driving there should be no dumpling the clutch at all, no reving it up and sliding the clutch out. Just feather down the gas as the friction point is reached. Driving like that will cut the clutches life at least in half.
