speedometer conversion

how can you replace a new 145 mph gauge with the original 85 mph gauge, if anyone knows a website with steps for it, or knows a conversion kit it would be great.

Lightbulb speedo r&r

82 -89 speedo`s all interchange, you can just swap the speedo gauge if you want..no other changes are needed just the speedo you want to use. You can probably find one right here on the parts for sale sec. you need to remove the face plate first (little torax bolts) then remove the 7/32 screws and the 7/16 speed nuts hidden in the "warning lite" section at the bottom around the perimeter, next remove the column lower valance and then unbolt the steering column to lower it down some. Now you can reach behind the speedo and pull the clip toward you( for the cable) as you pull on the instrment head. Once this is on the bench you can unbolt the speedo from behind. here are some I found if ur looking
