Alright...I was traveling on the freeway when my speedo suddenly ceased to function...the needle just dropped and never went up again. Stopped at a friends house, let the car cool down and still the speedometer never worked. What do you perceive to be the problem? and how might i go about fixing it? Thanx

I agree, cable is shot. Make sure you follow directions with new one and lube it before you install it. My cable twisted off at the tranny.
