Specs on a 3rd Gen

1) Is there a 5.7 option avaliable stock? I have seen a few but didn't know if they were swaps

2)Does the 5.0 output 210/275 like edmunds.com says or is it less?

3)Is there a 5spd option stock? I have been looking on autotrader and only see A/Ts

1. Yes, 5.7L, or 350 was available in IROC's, Z28's, Formulas, Trans Am's and GTA's from 1987-1992. Look here for more specific info:

2. The most hp/tq a 305 (5.0) ever put out was from 1989-1992 when it produced 230hp@4400 and 300tq@3200

3. Borg Warner T-5 5-speeds did come stock. Only with a V6 or 305 though. They never came stock with a 350.

Sadly, if you want to bang gears, you can get either a V6/305/5 speed. Do a conversion on an automatic. Or get a 4th gen with a 6 speed.

just to clarify a lttle, the 91-92 cars produced those numbers from the switch the speed density over Mass airflow...the 88, 89, and 90 LB9's were 220 and 295..doesnt sound like much, but when everything is equal including drivers, it matters.

everything else is right on
