I bought mine off ebay, 2" all the way around gives it a mean appearance. They cost me 148.00 with tax and shipping included and they arrived at my house in 3 days.

Spacer = peice of metal, requires that you change your wheel studs to longer (and stronger if your smart) parts to allow you to still be able to put on the lug nuts.

Adapters = peice of metal with 5 holes, and 5 studs. You put the adapter on using your stock studs, and bolt em down, then you use the 5 studs on the adapter to mount the wheel.

You need 2 inch in the front, and nothing in the back if your running a 4th gen rear. If your running a thirdgen rear, I think you need 2 inch in the back as well. I'm running a 4th gen rear, so I can't confirm the 2 inch for the back.

I had the Vettebrakes ones and I prefer the skulte ones I have now.
the vettebrakes ones used deep shank lugs and the skulte ones use the stock acorn style which helps to center the adaptor on the hub.

I am running 2" on the front with my ZR1's and I own both offsets, the shallow offset ZR1's required me to clearance the tie rod by 1/8th of an inch, the other offset works fine with no modification.

That is true but unfortunately if memory serves, they only come in 16x8.....lotta folks want that 17" wheel/tire combo so going with SLP won't cut it. If you don't mind the 16" size, I love the look of those SLP "ZR1's" and would love to see a picture of them in the "hyper-black" color they sport as well.

Actually, they are 17" but only 8" wide. They have a nice look since they have a little dish to them, but 8" isn't wide enough for me.

<slaps self> Sorry, my bad........you are correct sir and I apologize for the misprint. I see 8" wide and immediately my brain thinks 16"

Must be the thought of having to buy a tire that is 245/50-17 that freaks me out. Especially since I have been running 275/40-17 and 315/35-17 for the last few years on my car.

Check out these ZR1 wheels. Direct fit without spacers for 3RD gen. They are same as SLPONLINE.COM http://www.afterthoughtsauto.com/whac.html
