i ran my vin# in TGO and it gave me these results:
i wanted to make sure my car was a real z28 and it says
Sport Coupe, Z28
so is it a sports coupe or a z28
its an 83 by the way

I'm pretty sure that means it was a Sport Coupe, but had the Z28 package, making it a Z28.

 

check your RPO code inside your car for Z28. if it's there... then, well... need i say more?

 

All Camaro's are Sports Coupes except for Convertibles. Just the model is different , RS,Z28, IROC and etc......

where do i find the RPO code?

i have all the badging and the ground effects and everything accept for some reason i dont have the interior Z28 emblem on the passenger side dash? its got little black tabs instead thats why i was a little currious.

 

in the center console where you put all your crap... there should be a white sticker inside on one of the walls, usually by the passenger side. check that out

 

i havent gotten a chance to take a look at center console yet becasue its snowin like crazy but in the event that i dont have a sticker, is there any other way to find out.

I'm glad I live in NC. If you got no sticker, you can only assume. When people tell you to look for stuff like the wonderbar, well you don't know if it's factory.
