smoking
smoking
when i first turn on my car it smokes, its has been doin this ever since i parked it on my grass after driving it , my friend says that its prolly water moisture but im doubting that can anyone tell me what it is, also its white smoke.
Re: smoking
You are correct. White smoke is usually a sign that your burning coolant or water. However, I believe cars that burn coolant do it all the time, not just on start-up. I'm not positive though.
Re: smoking
so far from wat i know it only does it when it starts but im not positve, i will find out next time i drive it (dont have my license, just trying to get car ready for when i get license next month)
Re: smoking
I've had the same issue with my LG4. The black smoke on startup was me pumping too much fual before starting. The white smoke was moisture in the engine / enhaust from sitting on grass and the early morning dew. If you don;t get the white smoke in the afternoon when the morning moisture has burned off it is probably just morning dew.
Re: smoking
I vote that the smoke is from oil and that it's valve seals. Not really too big of a deal. Technically it could run forever like that. But if you do fix it, swap the cam and springs while your down there
