Smoke From the Small Tubes Running to the Cylinders

Smoke From the Small Tubes Running to the Cylinders
Finally got my alternator back from the rebuild shop. I had them beef up the rectifiers. Now it is a 150A instead of 105A. Anyway, after my test run around the neighborhood, I noticed a burning oil smell. Under the hood, a small stream of smoke was coming up from the small tube on the driver's side that I believe have something to do with the fuel injection system. Anyone have an idea on what this might be? Are there areas around these parts that leak. We are talking about a 17 year old 5.7L engine here. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I had this a couple of years ago on the passenger side where you can't see very well, but to make a long story short it was the valve cover gaskets. They both sides had split and would leak a drop or two every couple of minutes and smoke ,you could not tell where it was comming from.
