I put my 2 Irocs to sleep last week.Washed them up and covered them.Than I gotta thinkin maybe I should put stabilizer in the tank.What are your thoughts?Rob

 

Yes deffinately put stabalizer in them, it's very cheap insurance from cleaning a green gummy mess out of your fuel system next spring.

I put the Zed away to I also forgot to put the fuel stuff in too you have to run the car after you put the stabalizer in right?

 

You should but I already had my car cleaned up and the battery out so I just dumped half a bottle in.Better than nothing...Rob

 

Driving for a while after pouring it in is a very important step. It's what keeps the fuel from turning to varnish inside the small passages of the carb or fuel injectors. The stuff going bad in the tank is not as big a deal, comparatively.
