Shipping A Car?

Anyone know how much iy cost to ship a car?

It's coming from New York To Md
I hope its not too expensive.

825$ shipped from florida to my driveway. Paid 100$ extra for insurance on it. Took 4 days if i remmeber correctly, maybe 5

wow $825seems high.. I thought 600 was a deal. it was in a enclosed semi and droped off in 2-3days.

look in the phone book under auto transporters. ph# 800-733-0106 is AAAction Auto Movers. they do nation wide. you might try them.

yeah that 600 does sound nice. But I think mine was higher because I live on long island, and I wouldnt put it past the shipping companys to add on a drive thru NYC surcharge.

Well, being an old truck driver, let me tell you that surcharge as you call it is HAZARDOUS DUTY pay. and to pay for all the tolls the damage caused by hitting all those dang pot holes and from making it thru the city without running over every cotton picking one of those city drivers that think that they have the right of way because they tooted their horn before they moved. Having toured the island a few times in an 18, that surcharge wasn't nearly enuf!!!!
