I have been having problems with my tranny going into gear, regardless if the car is on or off. I pulled the shifter out today ( B&M Ripper )- I had no problem shifting into each gear by hand- what would cause this???? The shifter is not in backwards and it is torqued down to proper specs- whats up? Any ideas??? Thanks in advance-

 

Some shifters must have the limiter "stop bolts" set, not sure about that one, but some do. Check instructions or call the manufacturer.
