my B&M megashifter wont shift passed reverse?? i can't see the problem so hopefully you guys have some suggestions. btw, its hasn't been used yet. ever since the cable and everything has been installed it hasn't worked...

 

You know that you have to pull up on the handle, right?

If that's not it, disconnect the cable from the shifter and see if it'll go through its full range. If not, the linkage is probably to blame. If it does work with the cable disconnected, then it could be the cable, the attachment to the trans, or the transmission itself.
