She has air; all systems go
I just got through installing my 3rd gen ram air boxes from www.macewenmotorsports.com/. you can definately tell a difference. I put in 2 K&N air filters for her to breathe through and it sure beats the hell out of the K&N open element I was running. Anyway if anybody is thinking about this setup, I give it 2 thumbs up. By the way if anyone clicks on the website in my thread, click on performance to the right of your screen and it'll show you the ram air boxes.

i always wondered about that. The ram air hoods take air from above your car and forces it down into the engine. The normal setup takes air from under the car and forces it into the engine. How big of a difference could there be?
wow...$150
i did the exact same thing with a couple feet of "dryer ducting" from the hardware store a few years ago with my 87 iroc...cost me about $10 if i remember corectly.
worked just fine and gave a fantastic pull above 75mph
