I have a 87 iroc 350 tpi when i start the car a puff of smoke comes out of the tail pipes, someone said this was my seals on the valves that were leaking...they gave me a diagram on what to do and how to do it....i would appreciate it if someone would put that diagram back on, the file i saved it to was erased and i wanted to get this done before i bring it out of storage, thanks for your time....
Re: S-m-o-k-e
heres a not too detailed list of what needs to be done:
-remove valve cover/(s)
-remove rocker arms
-buy the fitting that screws into the spark plug hole to inject compressed air into the CC to keep the valves from falling down.
-inject CC's w/ ain
-use valve spring compressor to remove the spring and retainers
-pull off the old valve seal...install a new one
-put valve spring back on/install retainers.
-after your finished you must adjust the rocker arms
you can only do one cylinder at a time, which means,2 springs at a time.
ive done this before, its not very hard if your mechanically inclinded, but its just time consuming.

Thanks for the help....what are you looking at time wise to do this? and i am mechanically inclinded, but i have never done anything with heads, how do you adjust the rockers? thanks again
