Running Lights/Parking lights are out!

My friends 83 camaro doesn't have any running/parking lights. When you turn the lights on nothing in the back of the car is on. The headlights and blinkers work. And when you press on the brakes the brake lights come on. I just don't know what could cause all of them to go out. I checked all the fuses and they were good. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

30 minutes? Arn't they labeled... I could have had all the fuses out, checked, and back in them in about 8 minutes.

In the Dark with out a flashlight?
It was like 9pm & getting dark & we didnt have a real flashlight just the one that was stock in the overhead consol. Plus he was trying to make sure everything worked as well. He ended up taking the Radio fuse.

Hey, I'm not trying to start any fights here..lol
The way I see if , if it took 30 mins or 5 mins, it's still fixed and thats the most important thing.
Anyway..
I already put all new fuses in it and still nothing. When you mean the switch are you talking about the one you pull to turn the headlights on ?
thanks

Wiring diagram for front parking light circuit

Obviously, check the fuse first, and go from there. Do you have a DVOM? If not, buy one. Radio Shack sells inexpensive units that will get the job done. You have a power problem here. You can safely rule a ground issue out as there are several different grounds for different bulbs.

Look at the above picture and note the item that is circled in RED.
In my Trans Am, that module was near the radio and I removed it since I thought it was part of the stock radio. With that unplugged, the dash lights, parking lights, and running lights failed to come on.
Head lights and break lights worked fine.

I am not sure where that part is located on a Camaro and I am not sure if that is your problem, but my problem was exactly like yours and it was caused by me removing it. I put it back in and everything was fine again.

Does anyone know where the part is that Zepher is talking about on a camaro because I think that may be the problem cause somebody was messing around with the radio.
thanks

Might be a bad ground. see if the bulb is getting power because if it gets power and is not grounded at the other end it will not light up either.

See above wiring diagram. A ground issue is EXTREMELY unlikely in this case.

shwine617 - I don't think the Camaro has that module. The Camaro and Firebird headlight switches are different. Judging by the above posted wiring diagram, the dimmer is integral with the headlight switch in the Camaro. Regardless, I was curious, and checked to see if my car has that module. I can't seem to find that module on my car either.
