Hi,i Have A 1992 Camaro Rs 305 Tbi The Problem Iam Having Is The Idle On It Is Surging.when I Stop At A Red Light Or Slow Down The Idle Goes So Low The Engine Turns Off,this Happens Also When I Put It In Drive . I Have No Codes Or Check Engine Light,the Timing Is Set To 0 Degrees Tdc This Is Getting Anoying Please Help

Timing shouldnt be at 0,shoulbe be around 6-8*.

Sounds like a vacuum leak to me.

 

the timing lable on the hood says o degrees tdc

 

im having the same problem with my 1991 rs 305..i belive mine is with IAC if you have any luck pm me lol

 

This is a link that has a similar issue that turned out to be the in tank fuel pump. This does seem to be a hard prob. to solve.

Also My Spark Plugs Are Black With Carbon What Can Cause This

 

too much fuel or old plugs when i changed mine they were nasty black...any luck so far? im still tracking wires on mine looking for a kink or break

also not to thead jack...does anyone have a wiring diagram?
