What are the cheapest rocker i could get for these heads i dont want to put 1000 plus shaft mounted rockers if any one is selling a setup for these let me know.

 

You buy expensive AFR heads but want to cheap out on the rockers? Ok...

Harland Sharp or Scorpion are some of the least expensive rockers. You can get them from Summit or Jegs or your favorite local speed shop.

 

He needs offset on the intakes, right? Jeg's came out with their own set for their own 220cc heads which require .150" offset intakes. Jegs.com If that's not the case, I'd get no less than $275 Comp Pro Mag's...They're nice.

 

Yes, AFR 227s do require the additional intake offset. That kind of makes it hard to cheap out on rocker arms.

 

I just took a set of Jesel Sportsman 1.5 shaft rockers off my friends AFR227's and we are selling them if you are interested. New they were just under $800. There are about 20 dyno pulls and 20 passes on the strip with them and if we could get $550 shipped you can have them. email or call me at 615-754-5512...

We are using his heads on our Jegs Engine Masters Challenge engine this year and bumped up to a 1.8 ratio rocker so we could get BIG lift from a small cam.
