Repalcement Steering box

Any one ever replaced their box with a Detroit Speed or the new Flaming River piece? I have about 175000 on the IROC & want to replace the box. I have tried to tighten the allen nut but that did not do enough for me. I also have a leak at the end of the housing. Its all ready a quick ratio box but was wanting a little more information before spending $500 for a new box. I can get my OEM one rebuilt for $100 locally so I am not interested in paying $200 for a reman one from a parts store. I have checked all my front end components and they are OK.

Thanks
Chris

Re: Repalcement Steering box

Just hit up the junkyard for a no-option S-10 and grab a manual box from it.
