Rebirth

Whats up people. Gave up on sinking money into the 305 to keep things running. Dunno why I bothered in the 1st place but im in the market for either a 350 or 400 but i wanna do something no one in my area (that I know of anyway) has done before. Most of the street machines around these parts are sprayed. Not something id like to do. But ive always been curious as to what the differnce(s) are between superchargers, blowers and turbochargers. I cannot stand that obligatory pshh sound coming from a turbo w/a blowoff valve but do love the whine of a supercharger. Yet again love the look of a mean hood scoop coming towards you in a rearview mirror. So I'd like to know where to get info on these 3 and what powerplant they make them bolt up it.

Re: Rebirth

Turbos need an intercooler for max efficiency. Superchargers have belt drag. If you don't get the right turbo, you will have turbo lag. Turbos take up a log of space by the time you get the plumbing. In any case, you won't need a hood scoop for any of them. Blowers are SC and Turbos are turbos. With all the necessary plumbing, turbos will run more money. Plus you need a really free flowing exhaust downpipe or your turbo will have problems.
