It's a direct bolt in however a fourth gen diff is 2" longer on each side so you either need to use fourth gen rims, buy some rims with more backspace or live with your tires sticking out of the fenders an extra 2".

If you use the front/rear offset 16" 3rd gen wheels, it will look a little better. If you have 15's or other sizes that are the same offset for the front and rear, the rear will stick out noticably.

93-97 4th gen rears are almost 4" wider than you're 3rd gen rear. The later 98-02 rears are just over 3" wider than your rear. Regardless of width, all suspension locations and provisions are the same. If converting to a rear disc setup, you will need e-brake cables for an 89-92 car with the PBR rear discs.
