I thought the length is not correct in that it is too long. So, what is your defination of "easily"?

It's a direct bolt in however a fourth gen diff is 2" longer on each side so you either need to use fourth gen rims, buy some rims with more backspace or live with your tires sticking out of the fenders an extra 2".

If you use the front/rear offset 16" 3rd gen wheels, it will look a little better. If you have 15's or other sizes that are the same offset for the front and rear, the rear will stick out noticably.

Here is my Formula with rear offset 16" GTA wheels with an LS1 rear off of a 98 Firebird,

And this is what a non-rear offset wheel sits like,

93-97 4th gen rears are almost 4" wider than you're 3rd gen rear. The later 98-02 rears are just over 3" wider than your rear. Regardless of width, all suspension locations and provisions are the same. If converting to a rear disc setup, you will need e-brake cables for an 89-92 car with the PBR rear discs.

Those are rear offset wheels on the 4th gen rear.
