ram air vs cowl induction

I am purchasing a new hood soon and while i found a cowl hood that looks really nice im wondering as to what some of the pros and cons are performance wise when choosing between cowl induction and ram air

if u want it to be functionable,id go w/ the ram air b/c it brings cool,clean air right into the engine compartment. the cowl does too but not as much as the ram air i woudnt think.
