Ram Air TPI

Alright. Im in the process of installing ram air on my car and just have a few questions. MUST the fog lights be removed in order for this to work? Cause I like the fog lights, and would rather not. If they dont have to be remved tell me how I can work around em.

i left my fog lights on... but im taking them off soon - they dont work and i think my ram air setup would benifit a little if i took them off.... i dont think it'll give me a SOTP difference (lol i doubt it'll make any difference honestly), but... it wouldnt hurt to try huh?

Ok, but when you install the Ram Air, your no longer cooling your radiator with air are you?

look under your car.....see that huge plastic piece that hangs down under the nose....that is solely there to scoop air into the rad....i dont worry about the cooling air lost from the fog lights...

I did the Ram Air, and I also hooked up my fans to where both of them run constantly. When I bought the car, neither of the fans worked, I rigged one, and yesterday I rigged the other. So, it runs really cold now. I ran a very sad 15.1x at 88mph, BUT the humidity was awful and we had a head wind, so, Im definately looking at some 14's next week.(If the weather works out). My best run is a 14.9 and that was at 84k miles soo(now at 102k), even w/ the extra mileage, Im hoping to get a lil better than that, hopefully 14.5's w/ some Nitto T555R's and timing adjustments. . I just noticed that it is set at 6 stock, and that's awful, so, Im going to bump that to 10, and if it still aint right, i'll try 12. Thanx guys.
