QUICK HELP NEEDED-holley 255lph intank pump ?

I have a chance to buy a new Holley intank 255 pump cheap but he says its for a mustang. Can I still make this fit and work properly?
I checked the Holley site application chart and the f car pump for our TPI cars has a different part # from the Mustang. Can I make this fit anyway?

You could do it the "dirty" way and buy it from some online people and then return the unused pump as the one they sent you. Something I read about in a book or something.

I believe the Mustang pump doesn't put out as much pressure, but don't quote me on that.

Not if you return it and tell them they shipped you the wrong part. Like I said, something I read about in a book.

Can't do that. I have a 91 Firebird Formula that I have too much invested in to switch and start over with a Camaro.
