Pressure in gas tank

Has anybody had problums with a fuel smell and exessive pressure in the fuel tank?

When you open the fuel cap, you will hear fuel vapor rushing out That is common. What else are you talking about and how are we defining excessive?

yeah everytime i open mine i get alot of vapor that rushes out happens on all the cars i own, but about the smell do you smell it from inside the car or outside?
