Power adders for 89 350 TPI

I'm interested in maybe spending a thou or 2 on my 89 to give it a little more go beyond 1st gear when it tends to run out of steam. I'm mainly interested in bolt on stuff that I can do myself (highly mechanically inclined). No gear swaps at this time. Looking for suggestions on maybe some cams, TPI stuff, etc..

I've already got a high flow cat and flow-master 3 chambers.

Any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated.

Sorry, forgot to mention not supercharges for now as well. Looking for recommendations on maybe some better heads and headers as well. Keep in mind, I want the car to remain street legal and it will be a daily driver, but I'm just trying to get more pull through the entire RPM range, without sacraficing too much (if not any) of my low end grunt.

I would recommend the ZZ-9 or if you would like to go a little more aggresive the ZZ-409. The specs of the cam are on http://www.tpis.com/. If you were to match either of the cams with a set of aluminum heads that came on some of the TPI motors and do a good job porting you could make some real good power. If you were adding heads and a cam you would want to add a new intake, aftermarket LongTube runner intakes are expensive but you could have a 12sec N/A car with gobs of torque and you could always add stuff like a converter, prom, etc to increase your gains. Good luck and I hope that helps a little. Keep us informed on the progress and/or decisions you make.
