Thumbs down Please help! 88 TBI will not stay running in the morning, runs fine in the afternoon

Car is a stock firebird w/ 305 tbi. It will not stay running in the morning, it will fire up but will die almost immediately.

Replaced the IAC and MAP sensors. EGR is not stuck open. No vacuume leaks found. I changed out the coil wire, coil is damn near new. The distributor, cap rotor, ignition module is pretty much new. Moisture is not a problem....it hasn't rained here in weeks and it's 89 deg. in the morning, no dew on grass and no dew on windshield.

It fires right up and runs fine in the afternoons.

The car gives no codes only flashes 12 a couple times.

Try not keeping her out so late and waking her up early could be you computer does it matter if the car is cold like if you dont start it at all in the morning and wait untill the eve. will it still act up? My chip was bad in my car and it would stall when I tried to get a good launch but If I wanted to dump the clutch at 5 grand it would smoke the tires off but if I tried to go without spining it would almost quite.. might try changing the chip

one thing to check is the manifold air temp sensor. It could be temp related. In the morning it is cool and the car is not running properly and by the afternoon it warms up enough to allow the car to run. Sensors can be bad without giving you a code. The computer looks at a range that they should operate in and give a code if it falls out of that range. Now if the sensor is in the range but not working properly it will not show a code. I had a TPS that was eratic (measured with a voltmeter) and gave me problems when I would start from a dead stop. The codes I was getting was rich and lean codes and that was all. Hope you find your problem.

Thanks guys....checked it yesterday evening, i changed out the fuel filter but then the car started freaking out. I checked for codes and it spit out 15. Coolant temp. sensor. Changed it out today ($14) and the car now runs perfect.

Thanks for everyones input.
