Paint and Prep Help

I want to sand and paint my high rise spoiler so I can put it on and my front bumper cover because the paint is dull and is chipping in some places. I will just be rattle canning them as a temporary fix.

-What grit sandpaper should I use on the nose and spoiler and what grit should I go up to?
-Do I need to use primer?
-How should I go about filling in the holes from my original spoiler?

Thanks

when i sanded my bumber cover i used 220 sandpaper, i used it with water, also i used paint thinner, you are going to have to prime it, and regaurding the hole filling, use bondo

That's what I did for my front bumper. Although I didn't wetsand or use paint thinner. It might be hard to get the colors to match though. I think the more coats, the darker.

I would use some 600 grit to sand off the clear exposing the base coat. After that I'd put some base on followed by clear
