Hatch motor runs from $50-$150. Is rather simple to work on and replace. You are looking an hour max. Took me 20 minutes.

i know i hate the power options in that car i wish i had manual windows trunk and door locks. when u add power motor its just one more thing to worry about, anyway i found out the motor is not completely dead, when i pop the hatch the motor dosent come up, i have to press a little tab and then it comes up, my hatch shocks are brand new as of last year theere in excellent shape. is there a manual or walk thru to change that motor or can someone guide me threw it, and where the hell do i get that motor, advance auto, autozone, and napa dont carry it

Ebay, junk yards, and hawksthirdgenparts.com. Hawks is rather expensive, Ebay is as well, junk yards are your best bet if you can find a good unit. THe motors are in high demand. I am on my third one in the past year.

Speaking of ebay...I`ve seen rebuild kits for that motor, could`t tell ya much more than that but I know there`s a hell of a lot of window motors on there too, search "82-92 camaro"

Here`s a article on how to fix it

i might but id personally feel better with a new motor with a warranty, like all my other parts ive swapt since i bought the car, i guess its just hitting the mark where the stock componets are crapping out, everything is stock on there except the alternator and radiator and whatever performance mods ive done, im gonna search some more for that motor, my old boss who has the identical camaro to me, his motor died last week he was telling me so hes trying to get me another one from one of the manufactureres he deals with, is this thing pop in and out or what
