one little wire..

hey i found this 1 little wire...wondering where it goes...its right next to the est timing bypass wire

heres a pic..

please tell me its something important (hopefully something to do with the ignition or something)....b/c im running out of ideas on this ignition problem im having..

That's the fuel pump test/prime connector. It's just what you use to check the fuel pump and wiring if you suspect something is wrong with either two. You would just apply 12 volts to that connector and the fuel pump should run.

From everything I've read the fuel pump test wire should be on the drivers side, not passanger side.

Mine is, and was on my old 87 as well. Both TPI cars.
