ok im getting ****in pissed
some of u remember my thread about my LG4 car bogging when it hits 3rd gear.....i was told to inspect the fuel system and such.....i did so, found a very small hole in the fuel line and fixed that...it did nothing, so i then replaced the fuel pump....ran good for about a week then it happened
i warmed it up then took it out just now, pulled off my road and onto the highway, when it shifted from 1st to 2nd i noticed the RPM's dropped off almost 1k rpm lower than normal so i knew it was coming....2nd hit 3rd and it boggs then gains power, then boggs, and does this and i have to pump the throttle and it still does it....so i come up to a shapr turn off the highway that goes to my road....so i take it and nail it out of agression and peeled out easy from a 15mph roll
so i cruise down the road more past my house and pull in a driveway and cheack my wires and for leaks and such and find nothing...so i got back in and took off, came around this slight bend and slammed it once again (low in 2nd gear mind you) and the rear end came out on me...it has plenty of power even for a 305 when it doesnt run like ***.
so i come to a stop in the middle of the road (back road, zero traffic) and drop it 1st first , let it coast out to like 3 or 4 mph and hit 1.2 throttle, peel out then go WOT to let the 2ndaries open, when it hits top of first (sometimes 5500 or 6k rpm) it hold there for about 2 or 3 seconds then shifts and boggs the whole time its at WOT
did i overlook something? any suggestions or idea's are gladly ****ing welcomed

hows your fuel pressure?
vacuum leak maybe?
speak some WD-40 on the vacuum lines and around the base of the carb and intake gaskets,if the idle goes up theres the problem.
or
start taking off vacuum lines one at a time,if the idle doesnt change,theres the problem.

ill go and do the wd-40 on the vacum lines in here soon i think....keep the suggestions comin guys

Have you checked secondaries after the car is shut off? Look at the butterflies or air valves when the engine is off...they should be closed and have significant resistance when try opening them by pushing with your finger tips. I`ve seen cars that have had the q jet with a broken air valve spring, they bog big time when the secondaries flap straight open. could be as simple as that little spring

i remember them being tense when pushing on them but ill check in the morning, thanx
i sprayed WD40 around the carb and any lines coming out and didnt notice any drop on increse in idle RPM nor any air bubbles
all the plugs are new, wires, cap, rotor ect BTW
