Oil pressure sending unit

oil sender
My 88 350 TPI has the oil gauge sender to the right of the dizzy (driver's side,) the other sender located above the oil filter is an oil pressure switch call the "Fuel Pump Switch," if there's not sufficient oil pressure to keep the switch closed then when the fuel pump relay times out the fuel pump stop pumping.

The sender for the gage is larger than the fuel pump cut-off switch. The FPCOS is usually on the back of the block near the intake, and the oil gage sender is the above the filter. The gage sender looks like a cylinder about 3" long and a little bigger around than a quarter.
