no muffler for the v6?
no muffler for the v6?
who all has no muffler on their v6?
my i-pipe rusted out near the back where it connects to the muffler so i had to rig it so the right tailpipe won't drag on the ground
anyways, i'm starting to like this sound of it and might not want to get it fixed
even my friends said it sounded pretty good
who else has some opinions on it?

i didnt purposely do it...just sort of fell into it
and if i did get it fixed, i'd just get a new i-pipe since the muffler and tips look fine
anybody ever heard one without it? it's hard for me since i can only hear it from the driver's seat since no one else drives my car

leave it off, there was a kid i knew with a 85 RS 2.8L. he cut it off and it sounded way better than stock, the next day he put a 2 inch flow and it sounded stock again
i say leave it off, or pay some $$$$ for a borla, or something of that sort.

yea, i know about the cops, infact i know some in my town (by one way or another
)
but yea, i wouldn't worry about it that much because really, it's not all that loud (cept whenyou wind it out) but moreso it's just deep
i think i'm going to decide today whether to get a new i-pipe or leave it off
i'll let you guys know

well, i decided to go ahead and get the i-pipe replaced
i figure if i need noise, i'll do it on my future z28
but if anybody has any doubts, i'd say go with just a cat and straight pipe on your v6
i know there are differing opinions but...*imo* i think it sounded good and i don't think you'd really have a problem with the cops unless some are really strict where you live
now back to the stock exhaust...which i think has an undeniably great sound as is, just not loud enough
