Nitto's on my 10 bolt?
Would it be a good idea to run Nitto's on my 10 bolt? I bought the car about 6 weeks ago and it had been setting for about a year. I've been told not to run Nitto's on them because when a rear end sits it becomes weaker. Is this true?
I have about 100 passes on my Z running Nittos and the rear end is howling and needs alot of work.
But seeing as it has over 148,000 miles on it and most times at the track I was running 1.98 60’ I think it has held up really good.

Alright. So heres the deal. I have the Nitto's mounted on some 95 Z28 Wheels. Will these wheels lug pattern fit mine? And isnt there some deal where I cant rotate my wheels because the rear have to stay on the rear and the front must stay on the front right?
they will fit the bolt pattern, but not on your car cause your rearend is 2"s narrower then a 4 gen rearend. so they will touch the inner frame when you try to put them on. you can mount those tires on your stock 16" rims. or get spacers to make the 4gen rims fit your car. but they are expensive.
Id say the 26 spline axle'd rearends are just as strong cause the axle isnt the weak link. the ring gear in the rearend is and its the same part.
Ive made about 25 or so pass's on my car w/nittos and no problems. but I have a rearend girdle (MAC) that helps it. I dont think even at my power level there is a problem. not until low 12's or faster do you really need to worry about them.
as for the rotating rims, if the rims are diff. size front to back, they usually say front or back on them. if they dont say that, then I think you can rotate them front to back.

I know that I can't rotate mine front-back, because the rear wheels have a much deeper backspacing and won't clear the struts on the front.
And no the 95 wheels won't fit a 3rd gen rear because they have too much backspacing.
