Hey.....I've got a 91 Camaro RS 305 TBI Auto. It has 140K miles on it...the tranny seems fine except for when i put it in a different gear it lags a little bit and takes a couple seconds. How much would a new tranny be on average, supposing I had to take it to a shop?

depends...

depends on how much of a rebuild you want, whats wrong with it, etc...

if you want a brand new tranny (i think you have the 700R4), then they will cost you about 1200 bucks.
