New motor

Ok I got a brand new 350 crate motor for christmas to replace the stock 305 motor in my Camaro (1986). I really want to put TPI in the car because I like the idea of fuel injection. So my question to you all is would it be a wise decistion for the fuel injection or just get a 600 holley for the motor? O yea what headers are good for this car also?

Re: New motor

If the car wasn't TPI to begin with then it will be quite expensive to transfer over to it. I love fuel injection, but given the choice I would probably stick with the carb unless I had a lot of money laying around.

Re: New motor

Now if the car is a TPI 305and the heads on the crate are the same bolt patern of the TPI intake, its a straight forward swap. everthing should transfer over. you just need a knock sensor and 22# injectors. Do a search a common swap.
