Looks like it will be pretty nice. I don't really have a clue what kind of hp it should be pushing though. Keep us updated

Ummm.Is it an LT1 block? I would hope so because you list LT1 heads...That cam sounds huge too! very cool Just make sure the heads are matched properly.

I thought the Z28 spring was only good to about .500 lift? That's the spring Im runnin on a set of Vortecs

Did you do all the work to the LT1 heads to make them fit on the gen 1 block, or is it an LT1 block? I know I saw an article how to make the LT1 heads fit a normal block.

I also wonder about those springs. You should get the springs recommended for the cam. That's too much lift for a stock spring.

Carb size?

We decided on the other forum that the heads were early 70's model LT1's, so less modification is required. I was thinking about 700 or 750 edelbrock carb. The guy who built it said once fully tuned, the engine would be good for right around 400 HP
thanks

Ohhhh the old LT1 heads. Ok, they should work.

The Z28 springs however I don't believe will work. You MUST have the machinist check the springs for coil bind numbers. 400 hp? Sounds very reasonable.
