Hey guys, i need your help. Your more into the fuel injection and know what this stuff costs. I checked out a camaro today. 1987 Iroc, the car is MINT not a scuff or scratch on it, interior and exterior. The guy wants $4500 or BO. Heres the good stuff, the motor is a 350, .040 over. TPI, ZZ4 cam, World heads, (171cc intake runners, 2.02/1.60 valves, 67cc chambers.) Built 5speed, short-throw shifter, stage II clutch, aluminum driveshaft. Hedman long tube headers, 3" exhaust. The car was dynoed and put 337HP to the rear wheels. The car MOVES... it feels good, a slight chatter in the clutch when u start to take off but i think thats because of the high perf. clutch and just not being used to driving it because it didn't do it everytime i took off. The car has T-tops and a $1500 stereo system <-- which Im not interested in at all. Oh ya, and it has an alarm. Hes throwing in the factory driveshaft, (whoopey) and an IROC front bumper. The deal is kinda said and done, I told him $3900 cash, Im going back Monday. What do you guys think? The motor has not even 10K miles on it yet. Is it worth it, or can i build one cheaper.. im thinking.. this is an awesome deal, Im not a mechanic but I know motors and mechanics and the motor sounded great, and it felt great, he had receipts to back up EVERYTHING down to the handcleaner he used, the cam, the machine work, the transmission, the polyurethan bushings, all new steering components, new shocks, new struts... christ... it was almost a frame up! .... any input is appreciated!!
