not sure what to get 12 bolt ford 9 or a dana 60


I'm afraid the TTA makes so much power that it will break a 12 bolt

 

Not very likely with your setup and an automatic trans. The 9" and Dana 60 are heavier, eat more power, need custom sway bars, and usually require you to use non-GM brakes.

Unless you've got a solid 9 second car cutting sub 1.4x 60ft times, go with a 12 bolt.

 

What Marc said. if you break the 12 bolt,buy a lottery ticket.

Check out the gears section on LS1tech.com and read all about the 12 bolt vs. the 9" vs. the 60....I ended up going with a Moser 9"....I didn't need a custom sway bar and my Baer brakes work perfectly....

 

Learn how to drive and you wouldn't be breaking rears.
