Got a 90' RS. Looking for a nice " Thump Stick" to toss in this beast to get some more power out of it. Silly 305 TBI just doesn't have the snap my LT-1 has in my 95' Z28. Looking for something with a 110 - 112 lobe seperation. Want it to sound a little choppy.

Also looking for a 350 or another 400 to toss in it and want to possibly look into dropp'n the cam into it since it won't have to many miles on it by the time I find the motor I'm looking for.

Anyway guys. If you all know of something special, let me know.. I'm also kind of thinking about ditching the TBI, but I might keep it on there just for fun to play with.

 

no chance for lope with a LO3 motor. if emissions aren't a concern ditch all fuel injection and sell it to a local jeep club, since they love SBC swaps with fuel injection. next find a 350 and slap a carb on it and call it a day.

 

LOL.. Yeah, 305's are perfect low end motors for those small jeep axels. I'm still determined to get some lope though.. LOL... Just think it'ld be funny to have a TBI 305 with some lope. I mean come on man How cool would that be.
