My problem is when I drive my Z for long distances the tact gets stuck at like 2,000. I am sure this is doing nothing bad to my car because when I stop it doesn't sit and spin the tires. I am sure if I just kick the sh*t out of it, it will work but I would like to not to have to do that if I don't need to. Is there anything I can do to fix this or just leave it be? Thanks for any help.

But an after market tach. I have mine sitting to the left of the
c-pillar. Course, my original still works also.
