There are a lot of pix in the "galleries" section of www.iroc-z.com ... take a look at each year of IROC-Z pix. But if you want the exact color matched, in 1985 the Yellow was code 50 and the Light Yellow was code 54 according to this page:

http://iroc-z.com/1985pages/1985fact...%20Information

The best way to match colors and specify them is not by pictures but by paint code... tell the code to the paint supply shop you get your paint from and they will give you an exact match with the original hue. Sorry if you already know this, not trying to preach...

Hope that helps

Oh damnit I wish I owned a scanner I have THE sweetest yellow thirdgen Camaro pic right in front of me. It's a 91-92 Z28 painted Competition Yellow which was always famous on the C4 Vettes. It was also lowered 1.5" with 17" Chrome IROC-Z rims which I think is a rare rim to see on these cars and it had nicely tinted windows all around. The owner was some dude on the street actually, dressed with a yellow sports jersey to match the damn car..haha. I seen the car, drove to the nearest store and got a throw away camera and came back to get pics. The owner was like.."Oh man come on it's dirty...i got better pics i can send you." funny because it was spotless. He then told me it was a $500 MACCO paint job!! I couldn't stop laughing nor could I figure out if he was kidding or not.

To top it off, this solid yellow 91-92 Z28 had ONLY black IROC-Z door stickers on it, no other badges. It didn't need them but the stickers looked perfectly at home somehow

IMHO, if there really were 2 yellow IROC-Z color options, they both are terrible Same goes for the 4th gen Firebirds that had a yellow color option in 93 or 94. I'd get a paint code from a C4 Vette or C5 Vette and go from there.

I'll see if I can go to Kinko's and have them scan my pictures to a disk or something. later man.

If you want to see in person what a nicely painted yellow third gen camaro looks like, I live in Edmonton and could arrange a viewing of my car if you like. I used a blend of C4 corvette, and ferrari yellow. While I will not give you the mixture that my paint guy made, it would give you an idea of how much better the corvette or mustang type yellows look than the crappy stock irocs.
I do also have some pics, but I am not a computer buff and I can't figure out why they all turned in to randome text. On a side note, if any one knows why this happened any help would be appreciated, all my pictures are on my computer and messed up.
