need help picking my next 3rd gen

o.k. I think Im gonna buy another third gen. So I need help.
It must have t-tops, 350, fuel injected
is there any 3rd gens that came with the 350 and 5-speed??
oh also want it to have gfx
ok which year should I go with??

oh yea and it need to have disc brakes

No factory 350/5-speeds were produced, but lots of people swap engines/tranny's so it's not an impossible combo. You'll need to look for something '87 and newer to find a 350 IIRC, and T-tops shouldn't be hard to come by. You'll be looking for an IROC, Z-28, Trans-Am, GTA, or Formula as they were the only cars to get 350's (again, unless someone has done a swap.)

Personally I like the '91-92 RS/Z-28 with the newer style dash and ground effects. That's why I bought one so many years ago.

If performance is what you are after then get a 91-92 Formula 350. The L98 350 was at it's highest hp and tq numbers in those two production years. And the Formula is lighter than the Z28 or GTA or T/A. Therefore the 91-92 Formula was probably the fastest thirdgens from the factory, with the exception of the '89 Turbo T/A, and '92 Firehawk and so on.
