i need some help with my 89' iroc 350 tpi. the problem is i turn the key and get nothing. i've put a new battery,starter and all the cables for that. Before i put a new head unit in and it hasn't started now. but before that it was running but it was starting. so i really don't what is going on so plese help.

make sure you connected all the wqires to the starter sylinoid i believe there are 2-3 big ones and 1 little one.

are you getting signal power to the starter solenoid?
jump power the the starter solenoid form the big post(a screw driver works well for this)


if it turns over good, you got a control issue,
VATS wire breaking at the ignition swich is a common cause to this problem
